Architect & Engineer’s Specifications
The dimming system shall have 12 circuits with a load capacity of 2400 Watts per circuit. Each circuit is protected by a 20 Amp fast acting magnetic circuit breaker. An allowance of 200% overhead capacity is employed in the circuit design. The dimming system shall have a rise time of not less than 600 microseconds. Programming setup and memory attributes are via a front panel LCD display with keypad controls. A user may program the system power setup, the dimmer attributes of Dim or Relay, Softpatch, scene memories, and unit address via the front panel display and keypad controls. The dimming system will have a minimum of 100 programmable scenes. Scenes are recalled via standard 8 momentary contact closures, and up to 32 remote stations using a RS-485 protocol. A Calendar/Clock shall allow the user to schedule 128 Events to trigger by date and time any of the 100 programmed scenes, Event scenes may be piled on. A Snapshot function uses an external control to set scenes and via the Enter button record them directly into a scene memory. An astronomical clock is set and programmed by entering in the Longitude and Latitude of the system location. The dimming shall accept external control via RS-232/485 serial data. The dimming system shall also use USITT standard DMX-512 protocol for control of the dimming circuits. Power requirements of the dimming system shall be 120/240 VAC Single Phase or 120/208 VAC Three Phase operation. Capacity shall be 120 Amps per leg Single Phase mode, 80 Amps per leg Three Phase mode. All connections for control and electricity are made through terminal connections. Access to connections shall be through a hinged front panel. Wallmount attachments must accommodate standard 16” “stud centers”. All components and subsystems of the dimming system shall be UL-508 recognized and conform to the standards set forth. Dimensions are 21” high, 20.5” wide, 6.25” deep, the weight is 70 lbs. The dimming system shall be a Lightronics AR1202
