Overview
The MBC2T-16B is a 16" Mega-Beam Clamp designed for heavy-duty rigging applications, with a load rating of 2 tons (4000 lbs / 1818 kg). Featuring a low-profile, sliding jaw design, it allows loads to be secured as close as possible to the I-beam for maximum efficiency. Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, it offers the strength needed for demanding setups while being half the weight of traditional steel clamps. The clamp secures to I-beam flanges from 2" to 16" wide and up to 1" thick, with optional 2" jaws available for thicker flanges. Two aluminum jaws adjust using a 3/4"-6 TPI Acme threaded shaft, and the spring-loaded handle locks securely after adjustment. Ideal for both temporary and permanent installations, the MBC2T-16B combines high strength, lightweight construction, and versatile compatibility in a compact 15.2 lb unit measuring 22.5" x 7.5" x 2.75".
