The Light Source MBAT2M Mega-Batten Clamp for 2" Tube, Silver
Overview
The two-piece, Mega Batten Clamp is great way to hang 1-1/2" pipe. The tight compression fit keeps pipe from rotating within the clamp. The Mega Batten Clamp wraps around the pipe batten on both sides and fastens with two 5/16"-18 TPI socket cap screws using a 1/4" hex driver. Hand tighten the bolt next to the 1/2" hole until the top of the two pieces are flat against each other. Then install the other bolt and tighten to just 3 foot pounds, do not overtighten. Secure to structural supports through nominal 1/2" hole at top of clamp with up to a 7/16" shackle pin, quick link, or turnbuckle jaw. CNC Machined 3/16" thick x 2" wide 6061T-6 Aluminum.
