    Shure MX412D/C 12-inch Microflex Cardioid Gooseneck Microphone

    The MX412D/C from Shure is a 12” Microflex Gooseneck Condenser Microphone with cardioid polar pattern and base for desktop use. It features an attached XLR preamp, shock and flange mount, and snap-fit foam windscreen. Shure Microflex Standard Gooseneck microphones bring a whole new meaning to the word flexible with a fully adjustable gooseneck. Designed for easy replacement and available in cardioid, supercardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns, the interchangeable cartridges offer wide frequency response and accurate sound reproduction for a wide variety of applications, such as houses of worship, courtrooms and conference centers. Plus, the condenser cartridges fit every model in the Microflex product line for enhanced convenience and consistent sound.

     Note from Shure:

    The switch on the MX412D is completely customizable. You can make it push to talk, push to mute, or push on/push off. There are DIP switches on the preamp in the base that allow the mute switch to be customized. The MX412D/C would be a good choice for a your application.
