Product Description
Pro Intercom PS301 3-Circuit Power Supply with Program Audio Input
Overview
The PS301 is the perfect combination of analog/linear working in conjunction with digital circuitry. Its linear supply section with a toroidal transformer paired with linear regulators nearly eliminate all stray radiation. The PS301 works well with other sensitive lighting and audio gear nearby. Its built-in microprocessor monitors temperature, voltage, and the current status of both the input and output. At 24 volts DC, power is thoroughly regulated and automatically decreases when needed. Current limiting in addition to short-circuit protection prevent hardware damage if a connection error or cable failure were to occur. A discreet buit-in fan turns on when needed to decrease the overall temperature of the unit. The PS301 also features a program input that can be channeled to any or even all of its three circuits. The unit also functions in either the 120VAC or 240VAC range.
Features
- Ideal combination of analog/linear with digital circuitry
- Virtually eliminates stray-field radiation
- Works well with others sensitive audio and lighting gear close by
- Features a quiet built-in fan that turns on automatically when needed to cool unit
- Since each PS301 circuit is individualized, an issue with one does not impact the others
- Microprocessors control all of the switching, routing, and supervision capabilities, while the audio paths and power supply stay true to their analog character.
- The PS301 can be used with any unbalanced 200 ohms party-line intercom components.
