"Warranty Repair/Replacement Any equipment bought from Leviton which fails within the warranty period may be returned for repair or replacement at Leviton's discretion, at no charge except freight, unless damaged by abuse. Warranties All warranties are F.O.B. factory, Tualatin, Oregon. Leviton product warranties are described in the product documention. The warranty begins from the date of purchase to the original owner when purchased from an authorized dealer or distributor. Some Projects may have purchased an extended warranty or are subject to other warranty terms as described in the Project documentation. The purchaser is responsible for completing and mailing to Leviton, within 15 days of purchase, the warranty registration card enclosed with each product. Leviton products that have been subject to accident, alteration, abuse, or defacing of the serial number are not covered by this warranty. The normal wear and tear of items such as knobs, jacks, and switches are not covered under this warranty. If your product requires service during the warranty period, Leviton will repair or replace, at its option, defective materials provided you have identified yourself as the original owner of the product to Leviton or any authorized dealer. Transportation charges to the Leviton factory for repair shall be the responsibility of the owner. All products returned to Leviton must have factory authorization in the form of an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) for return, prior to shipping. RMA numbers must be marked clearly on the packaging or the shipment will not be accepted. Leviton is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from defect or failure, other than repairs of the Leviton product, subject to the terms of this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other agreements and warranties expressed or implied except as otherwise required by law. Lamps that are included with Leviton lighting fixtures are covered by the lamp manufacturer. Returns: must be accompanied with written authorization and issuance of an RMA form by Leviton Technical Services department. This department can be reached at (800)959-6004.
