Conversion from Colortran ENR Dual 2.4Kw Dual Dimmer Module (166-362) to a Constant Module (TZMOD-CM)
This is for the conversion of one Colortran ENR or Colortran Topaz Dual 2.4Kw or 1.8Kw Dual Dimmer Module from a dimming capable module to a "Constant On" Module (Constant Module).
Please note that this conversion can be done with any of the following units:
- Colortran ENR 2.4Kw dual dimmer module
- Colortran ENR 1.8Kw dual dimmer module
- Colortran Topaz 2.4Kw dual dimmer module
- Colortran Topaz 1.8Kw dual dimmer module
Once the conversion has been completed, the dimmer module will not be able to dim and/or be controlled, other than mechanically turning on and off of the breakers on the Constant Module.
This is recommended for the powering of all moving light fixtures, LED fixtures (requiring constant power) and/or any electrical device requiring constant power from a circuit on a Colortran ENR or Topaz Dimmer Rack.
Important note, this conversion MUST be done for the entire dimming module (two dimmers next to each other), which is being converted to a Constant Module. A dimmer module is a dual dimmer module, meaning it has 2 dimmers built into it. With the conversion both of the dimmers inside of the one dual dimmer module will be converted to constant modules.
The end user must provide a Colortran ENR or Topaz Dimmer Module to our office and then the conversion will be completed, tested, and sent back to the end user. Typical turn around time is 10 business days for the conversion + standard ground return shipping time.
Constant Modules can be used in any slot designated for the Dual 2.4Kw or 1.8Kw Dimmer Module. The Constant Module can be moved from slot to slot in the dimmer rack, as needed.
