ETC Unison DRd Emergency Bypass Detection Kit (EBDK)
Power-loss detection for emergency lighting systems
The Emergency Bypass Detection Kit (EBDK) is a UL 924 Listed device which senses three-phase or single-phase normal power and an optional fire alarm contact. When its emergency state is triggered by a loss of power or a fire alarm, the EBDK activates the emergency lighting control operation of up to three connected UL 924 Listed products. The EBDK automatically returns to normal lighting operation when it leaves its emergency state or it can be used with optional manual return stations.
The EBDK is compatible with ETC UL 924 Listed power control products such as Sensor, DRd, Sensor IQ, and Echo power enclosures, Echo Room Controllers, and Foundry Mini Panels as well as the DMX Emergency Bypass Controller.
The Emergency Bypass Detection Kit (EBDK) monitors a single-phase or three-phase normal power feed and a fire alarm contact. When the EBDK detects a fire alarm signal or a loss of normal power, it generates a maintained contact closure to trigger the UL 924 Listed Emergency Lighting Bypass Operation in connected ETC lighting control products.
