Product Description
Electro-Voice PL80C Handheld Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone (Beige with Black Grille)
Overview
Finished in beige with a black grille, the Electro-Voice PL80c is a PL Series handheld supercardioid dynamic microphone offering an EQ-friendly tone for optimal reproduction of vocals, speech, and instruments in concerts, public address, houses of worship, and live stage applications. Its dynamic capsule is shock-mounted to reduce handling noise. It delivers a frequency response of 80 Hz to 16 kHz with a gentle boost centered at approximately 5 kHz.
Its neodymium magnet provides a high output and low noise floor without the need for external power. The supercardioid polar pattern consistently rejects sound at its off-axis points and yields high immunity to feedback. The XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps, mixer inputs, and portable PA systems. The PL80c ships with a mic stand adapter and a soft, zippered gig bag.
Features

- Neodymium magnet offers enhanced output and operational stability
- Shock-mounted capsule minimizes handling noise and impedes the transfer of vibration through the mic stand
- Rugged construction and fine mesh Memraflex grille provide tour-worthy durability
