Colortran D192 Dimmer Rack Fan Assembly, Rebuild.
Once you place the order for this repair, then we will send you an email with the R/A# and the shipping address so you can ship this item in for repair.
Please note that the repair won't start until the item is received at the repair facility. The repair can take from 5-10 business days to complete. Then the item will be shipped back to you using the speed of shipment that you select on this order.
1) The end user or a local electrician (not included in this price) will need to remove the entire fan assembly from the top of the Colortran D192 Dimmer Rack.
2) Before removing the fan assembly, the qualified person will need to label the two high voltage wires (120vac) for fan power. Then disconnect them.
3) In addition, the qualified person will need to label the three low voltage wires (24vdc or less) for the "vein switch" (fan speed monitor). Then disconnect them.
4) The entire fan assembly can then be removed from the dimmer rack.
5) We need the entire fan assembly, because there are several variations of the fan assembly and this will allow us to rebuild the fan assembly in the correct manner.
6) The fan assembly will be rebuilt and tested for full functionality, before shipping back to the site.
7) The qualified person will then re-install the Colortran D192 Dimmer Rack Fan Assembly back into the dimmer rack.
8) You will then have a good, working Colortran D192 Fan for your Colortran D192 Dimmer Rack.
