Overview
The D29 Dynamic Instrument Microphone from CAD is a cardioid, moving-coil microphone designed for use with acoustic percussive instruments, especially rack and floor toms. Ideal for studio or stage use, the D29 features high SPL handling for loud sound sources and a convenient integrated mic clip for rapid placement directly onto instruments. Although primarily geared toward the capture and reinforcement of percussion, the D29 can also deliver good results when used to record many acoustic and electric instruments, such as electric bass cabinets and acoustic guitars.
Primary Applications
Although designed with acoustic percussion instruments in mind, the D29 is flexible enough for use with most electrical and acoustical instruments. Great for either live or studio recording, the primary applications include:
