Overview
The ultra-compact and innovatively designed CBL523 delivers reliably consistent audio to theatres, performing arts centers, houses of worship, and commercial spaces. With a variable crossover point from 520Hz to 20KHz, this speaker allows for a smooth blend of full-range audio across the entire deployed space, effectively eliminating audio deserts. Professionally tuned for integration with PowerZone™️ digital processing & amplification (sold separately), the CBL523 is adaptable for delay, under-balcony, and wall-mount applications. In dual mode, the CBL523 transforms into a compact constant curvature array, yielding precise pattern control. The symmetrical and compact trapezoidal design of this speaker is not only visually appealing but also serves to enhance the sound quality. With two 5” low-frequency drivers complimented by a vertical constant directivity array of three 2” high-frequency drivers, the enclosure produces 119dB of maximum SPL in a focused 160° (horizontal) x 55°* (vertical) pattern, allowing you to direct your coverage with surgical precision. With the ability to stack and suspend two units to increase SPL (+3dB) and extend the vertical coverage, the CBL523's versatility is matched only by its performance.
