Overview
Taking the successful AT-ART7 even further into premium turntable playback for vinyl enthusiasts, the Audio-Technica Consumer AT-ART9XA is a flagship nonmagnetic core dual-moving-coil-cartridge designed for Hi-Fi playback systems, providing extremely natural and distortion-free sound quality with the ability to express precise sound fields inherent to non-magnetic core types.
Thanks to the redesigned coil armature, the AT-ART9XA achieves a higher output voltage of 0.2mV, overcoming the issue of low output found in traditional nonmagnetic cores. Extended frequency response and heightened separation are made possible by dual moving coils—configured in an inverted V shape—as well as the Shibata stylus and solid boron cantilever. The AT-ART9XA includes a complete hardware kit for easy installation to a headshell or integrated tonearm.
