Overview
The Atlas IED ALX-16D Digitally Steerable, Multichannel 16-Speaker Column Array. ALX-D range features digitally steerable, multichannel array loudspeaker systems designed for commercial installations with problematic acoustics. Advanced steering algorithms, powerful DSP, and efficient amplification provide system designers with unparalleled control in large, highly reverberant spaces.
Standard IP connectivity and Dante eliminate the need for external interfaces and network bridges. Each transducer has its own DSP and amplifier channel, enabling fine beam adjustments and precise steering. The acoustic center can be adjusted along the entire column length, with independent split beams available for further optimization.
The seven ALX-D models consist of identical modules, creating arrays up to 4.8m (16ft) long, simplifying shipping and handling.
Integrated software allows real-time control, telemetry, and beam steering optimization in a single package. Configuration and addressing are fully automatic. The series integrates seamlessly with AtlasIED GCK advanced notification software, forming part of the AtlasIED GLOBALCOM ecosystem.
For critical messaging, the Aimline Series meets global legislative and safety standards, ensuring clear and intelligible messages for both instructional and emergency scenarios in public buildings and transportation hubs.
The narrow cabinet and discreet mounting hardware blend seamlessly into architecturally sensitive spaces, indoors or outdoors.
