    Williams Sound BA C1-00 Auracast Controller (Transmitter Not Included)

    Overview

    Ideal for use in lecture halls, transportation station, theaters, and other large venues, the Williams Sound BA C1 Auracast Controller is a multichannel controller for use with compatible Infinium systems. Since this product is designed for assistive hearing applications, carefully designed features, like support for mono and stereo transmissions and secure channels, are found in this unit. Audio is handled via a Dante network, while a single combo XLR male / 1/4" TRS connection is provided for various microphone applications. A front-facing panel allows for smooth operation to control various parameters.

    Assistive Hearing Compatible

    At the heart of all Infinium devices, including the BA C1, is support for hearing assistive devices including hearing aids, cochlear implants, headphones, and receivers. This controller is ADA-compliant and can support both mono and stereo transmission.

    Dante Ready

    The BA C1 Receiver is Dante compatible and incorporates two network ports: a control network and an audio network. Both connections can either work independently or together on a single network.

    The PC can be connected directly to the controller (Link-Local) or remotely from a common network. 

    Front-Panel Controls

    The Front-panel Control Interface (FCI) displays important system status information and configures basic settings for quick setup and effective troubleshooting.
    Connections and Power
    Versatile connections are available on this controller. A combo XLR male / 1/4" TRS, and 3-pin terminal block (Phoenix block) inputs are provided for various line and microphone devices. On the front panel, a 1/4" TRS headphone jack for both stereo or mono operation is included.

    Power is distributed either by Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) via the Dante port or a 24V, 18W DC supply.
