The Shure SLXD4QDAN+ is a professional quad-channel digital wireless receiver with integrated Dante audio networking, designed for live sound, installed audio, broadcast, and house of worship applications. Built on the SLX-D+ platform, it delivers transparent digital audio, expanded wideband RF performance, and advanced hands-free wireless management in a space-efficient full-rack format. Transparent Digital Audio and Wideband RF Performance

The SLXD4QDAN+ delivers clear, accurate 24-bit digital audio with greater than 118 dB of dynamic range across all four receiver channels. A wide tuning range of up to 138 MHz (regionally dependent) provides broad geographical coverage and simplified frequency coordination. The receiver supports up to 11 simultaneous systems per 6 MHz TV band and up to 14 systems per 8 MHz TV band, making it well suited for scalable, high-density wireless environments.

ShowLink Ease Automated Wireless Management

Integrated ShowLink Ease technology enables two-way communication between the SLXD4QDAN+ receiver and compatible SLX-D+ transmitters. Once linked, transmitters automatically stay synchronized with the receiver across power cycles and RF changes. Engineers can remotely change transmitter frequency, adjust gain, lock or unlock controls, automatically deploy new clean frequencies when interference is detected, and perform over-the-air firmware updates-without physically accessing the transmitters.

Dante Audio Networking Integration

The SLXD4QDAN+ features built-in Dante audio networking, allowing all four receiver channels to be routed digitally over a single Ethernet cable. Dante connectivity enables seamless integration with networked audio systems for routing, recording, monitoring, and distribution, reducing analog cabling and simplifying installation in modern AV, broadcast, and installed sound environments.

Wireless Workbench Desktop and Mobile Control

The SLXD4QDAN+ integrates seamlessly with Shure Wireless Workbench desktop software and the Wireless Workbench Mobile app. Users can monitor RF performance, configure receiver and transmitter parameters, manage ShowLink Ease functions, and perform interference monitoring over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Network connectivity supports efficient system expansion and centralized control in larger installations.

Integrated Digital Feedback Reduction

Patented Shure Digital Feedback Reduction (DFR) software is embedded directly into the SLXD4QDAN+ receiver. DFR automatically detects and suppresses feedback using dynamic notch filtering, improving clarity and system stability across all four channels in live sound environments where acoustics and microphone placement may be unpredictable.

Multiple Transmitter Options

The SLXD4QDAN+ is compatible with the full range of SLX-D+ transmitters. The SLXD1+ bodypack transmitter features a lightweight ABS housing with a TA4M input for lavalier microphones, headset microphones, and instrument cables. The SLXD2+ handheld transmitter offers a durable aluminum housing with interchangeable capsule options including SM58, Beta 58A, Beta 87A, KSM8, Nexadyne 8/C, and Nexadyne 8/S. The SLXD3+ plug-on transmitter supports any XLR microphone and provides phantom power for condenser mics.

Quad-Channel Audio Summing, RF Cascade, and Secure Design

The SLXD4QDAN+ supports audio summing, allowing the quad-channel receiver to function as a compact four-channel mixer for streamlined output routing when required. RF Cascade functionality allows up to three SLXD4Q-series receivers to be linked together to create a 12-channel system without additional accessories. Each SLX-D+ receiver ships with AES-256 encryption enabled for secure wireless transmission. The SLXD4QDAN+ features a rugged metal full-rack chassis designed for reliable operation in touring, installed, and broadcast environments, providing a powerful and scalable foundation for professional networked wireless audio systems.
