DO YOUR NEW LED LIGHTS FLICKER WITH ETC (ELECTRONIC THEATRE CONTROLS) DIMMERS? WE HAVE A SOLUTION FOR YOU – ETC PHASE ADEPT DIMMER MODULES!

ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls) has long been known for their reliable dimmer and control systems, but how to install new dimmable LEDs and have them work with those work-horse dimmers?

Luckily, ETC has created the PhaseAdept Dimming Module which is capable of making any vintage Sensor Dimmer Racks with CEM3, CEM+, CEM-Classic, and DRd dimming engines.

Depending upon the age of your system, the settings for the PhaseAdept Dimming Module is either done through the programming of the dimming module or through manual settings. Typically, the older the system, the more likely you are to have to use the manual settings.

The PhaseAdept Dimming Module has two (2) high performance dimmers in one (1) module that are designed specifically to dim LED loads.

Due to the design of the PhaseAdept Dimming Module, the LED loads can be either forward or reverse phase dimming compatible. Please note that you must have one or the other on a single load. You can’t have a mix of forward-phase and revers- phase on the same load of the PhaseAdept Dimming Module.

Why is this new product important?

In the past, all of the older models of ETC Dimming Racks were forward-phase compatible only.

Where-as, most dimmable LED lamps and/or fixtures were reverse phase compatible.

This caused an issue because the forward phase dimmers could not successfully dim the reverse phase dimmable LED lamps.

Prior to this product for the ETC Sensor Dimmer Racks, you would have to either use forward-phase dimmable LEDs (only about 10 percent of the market) or install a converter that converted from forward phase to reverse phase dimming. This included paying an electrician to install the converter.

The beauty of the ETC PhaseAdept Dimming Module is that is basically plug-and-play (with a little bit of programming or manual adjustment). You have cut out the need to add a converter, because the converter is built into the same slot as the existing dimmer module. Pretty cool!

You can purchase the following versions of the ETC PhaseAdept Dimming Modules:
