Leviton GreenMAX Digital Switches are 100% digital.Specifically designed for use with GreenMAX Relay Control Panels, GreenMAX Digital Switches utilize the LumaCAN protocol for unparalleled programming flexibility.

How do I tell if my station is LumaCan 2 or LumaCan 3? 

• If your station is older than the year 2015, then it is likely LumaCan 2.  If the station is newer than the year 2015, then it is likely LumCan 3.
• You can check to see if your station is LumaCan 2 by pulling the station out of the wall.  Then look at the side of the station where the model # can be found.
• If the side of the station says "D" on the model name after the # of buttons on the station (e.g. RDGSW-2DW), then you have a LumaCan 2 station. 
• If the side of the station says "C" on the model name after the # of buttons on the station (e.g. RDGSW-2CW), then you have a LumaCan 3 station.
• LumaCan is a programming protocol/language and so the stations are NOT interchangeable.  If you are using LumaCan 2 you must stay with LumaCan 2; and likewise with LumaCan 3.
